The Strawberry Festival will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. (rain or shine) at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, 22 S. Main St. The festival will feature strawberries, ice cream, cake, music, games, face-painting, a clown and more. A family pass for up to five people costs $28; individual tickets cost $7. 
Join the Roebling Museum at 1 p.m. as it honors the contributions of America’s women during times of war with Elizabeth Michaels’ portrayal of “Rosie the Riveter.” The presentation is free but seating is limited. The Anchor House Fundraiser Variety Show will take place at Robbinsville Senior Center at 4 p.m. Admission costs $5. Proceeds help “at risk” youth and families in Central Jersey who receive services from Anchor House. The event will feature singers, dancers, bagpipes, poetry, balloon animals and a performance by “Poobah the Clown.” The Robbinsville Senior Center is located at the intersection of Route 130 and Robbinsville-Allentown Road, behind Dunkin Donuts, next to Robbinsville Library. 
Holy Cross Lutheran Preschool at 280 Crosswicks Road in Bordentown isoffering a summer program featuring weekly themes that encourage the curiosity of young minds while providing a safe, fun environment where children can be nurtured. Programs are available for children between the ages of 3-5 years old. Children must be 3 years old by Oct. 1, 2015 and fully potty trained. Summer sessions will be available for four weeks starting today. Each session will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. andwill meet each week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The redevelopment subcommittee of the Cranbury township Planning Board will give a public presentation beginning at 7 p.m. in the Large Group Room of the Cranbury School, 23 N. Main Street, Cranbury, of the concept plan that has been developed to date for the “Cheney/Hagerty/Kushner“ redevelopment area on S. Main Street and Old Trenton Road (Block 19, Lots 2, 3 and 4 and Block 20.16, Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, and 20) in Cranbury Township. The meeting will be limited to the above-referenced presentation. No formal action will be taken. 
The Bordentown Regional High School (BRHS) Huddle Club will be holding its annual Youth Football Clinic, run by the Bordentown Regional High School football coaching staff, today through June 11 from 5:45 to 8 p.m. at the BRHS athletic complex. Anyone interested in participating and currently in grades1-8 is eligible to participate. Participants do not need to reside in Bordentown. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Mercer County is currently seeking new volunteers. CASA is a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and supervises community volunteers who speak up in family court for the best interests of children that have been removed from their families due to abuse and/or neglect. The Beth El Synagogue of East Windsor Werner Lecture Fund will be presenting the Emmy-nominated documentary “50 Children” at 7 p.m. In the spring of 1939, a Jewish lawyer and his wife left their home in Philadelphia and embarked on a plan to rescue children from Nazi-controlled Vienna. Learn their story and meet Paul Beller, one of the 50 children. 

The third annual East Windsor Autism Awareness Dance-a-thon and Raffle benefiting Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight at the East Windsor Elks. The suggested donation is $20 per person and proceeds will benefit the new Cranbury Community Library. 

Holy Cross Lutheran Church, located at 280 Crosswicks Road in Bordentown, will be having its annual Summer Vacation Bible School this week through July 31. There will be a morning session for children age 3 to kindergarten and an evening session for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. The theme for this year is “Everest” and children will embark on an icy expedition and overcome obstacles with God’s power. Community dinner: Rise and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen offer free hot meals at the First Presbyterian Church, 320 N. Main St., Hightstown, on Mondays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and the First United Methodist Church, 187 Stockton St., Hightstown, on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. All meals are provided free on an unconditional, no-questions-asked basis. Volunteers are welcome.
Food Pantry: The Rise Food Pantry is open 52 weeks a year from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and from 5 to 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month. Baby care items, personal products and all nonperishable and perishable food items are needed for local families. The pantry welcomes locally grown fruits and vegetables. Food can be donated directly to the pantry at 225 Franklin St., Hightstown, during operating hours or to the Greater Goods Thrift Store, 114 Rogers Ave., Hightstown. The Greater Goods Thrift Store at 114 Rogers Avenue in Hightstown is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Recycle gently used clothing, furniture and household items with a tax-deductible donation. Proceeds support the Rise Food Pantry, youth programs and provides social services to local struggling families and individuals.

Sons of the American Legion Squadron 455 all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet takes place every first Sunday of the month and benefits the community, veterans and their families.
