The Center for Real Estate at Rutgers Business School has announced the appointment of Ralph Zucker, president of Somerset Development, to its advisory board.
The Center for Real Estate at Rutgers Business School brings together the real estate industry’s brightest and most influential executives to interact with students and set the academic course for the center. Advisory board members are carefully selected and represent a diverse group of leaders in a variety of fields related to the real estate industry.
Zucker will serve as a conduit of information, knowledge and best practices, fostering productive discussion among students, industry peers, government and academia.

Town Square Diner celebrated the grand opening of its new location at 1077 Route 35 in Aberdeen with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by owners Alex Charalambous and Peter Charalambous; General Manager Mark Iannacone; and Aberdeen Township officials, including Deputy Mayor Harvey Brenner and Aberdeen Economic Business Council members Steve Marcinkiewicz, David Shah and Maxine Rescorl.

Harshana “Harry” Senanayake of Howell has been appointed senior vice president, chief technology officer for Columbia Bank.
Prior to joining Columbia Bank, Senanayake most recently served as chief information officer for Northfield Bank.
He earned an undergraduate degree in engineering from the City University of New York, along with several professional certifications, including Microsoft system engineer certification, risk and information security controls certification and information security manager certification.

Gillian Daly, owner of the Daly Irish Dance School, was recognized by the Irish Echo newspaper as a top Irish-American small-business owner. She received the Irish Small Business Excellence Award on May 15 at a gala reception in New York.
A native of Ireland, Daly is a certified teacher. She is also a founder and vice president of Rince Tuatha Nua, a new open-platform Irish dance organization.
