A West Church Road resident reported the theft of $13,500 worth of jewelry, including rings, earrings and necklaces, from her home between May 18 and June 2.
A thief stole $290 worth of clothing from J.C. Penney at the Quaker Bridge Mall around 3 p.m. June 9. A store loss prevention officer saw the woman walking around in the women’s department, with clothing draped over her arm. She left the store without paying and got into a car and left.
Christina Dottino, 18, and a 17-year-old girl, both from Robbinsville, were charged with shoplifting for taking clothing worth a combined $1,433 from Lord & Taylor at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 5:36 p.m. June 9. They entered a fitting room with the clothing. A check of the fitting room revealed a few items left behind.
An assortment of brassieres and panties, valued at a combined $787, were reported missing from Victoria’s Secret at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 7:10 p.m. June 9. A store employee saw three women in the store, one of who was acting suspiciously. They left the store. The theft was discovered after an inventory of stock was conducted.
Sometime between June 8 and June 10, a back-flow valve was removed from a watering system on Fountayne Lane. The valve was valued at $750.
Two shoplifters, described as a white man and a Hispanic man, walked out of the ShopRite grocery store at the Mercer Mall with two packages of filet mignon, valued at a combined $180, sometime between 1:25 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. June 11.
Janiece Anglin, 19, of Hamilton, was charged with theft of property lost, mislaid or delivered for taking a cell phone, valued at $70, from a shelf in The Children’s Place store at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 5:11 p.m. June 12. The cell phone belonged to a 22-year-old Trenton woman.
A bicycle worth $350 was reported stolen from the side of a garage on Eldridge Avenue at 6:35 p.m. June 12. A witness saw a boy riding the bicycle down the street toward Eggerts Crossing Village. Police searched the area, but could not find it.
Hector Gomez-Morales, 63, of J. Russell Smith Road, was charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a Breathalyzer test and careless driving after the car he was driving struck a mailbox on Bonnie Court at 10:33 a.m. June 14.
