‘Ben Franklin’ brunch set for Metlar-Bodine

The Metlar-Bodine House Museum will feature Brunch With Ben Franklin & Friends 1-3:30 p.m. July 5 at the museum, 1281 River Road, Piscataway. This tented event will take place on the grounds of the museum, rain or shine.

Guests will feast on 18th-century fare and beverages, while 18th-century music is performed live by a trio of professional musicians. Ben Franklin, portrayed by historical interpreter David Emerson from History on the Hoof, and friends will instruct children and adults on a variety of 18th-century games and activities. Free museum tours will be available.

The cost is $50 per person. Children under 12 are free and must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required by July 3 by calling 732-463-8363 or visiting goo.gl/0EX1yz.
