 The summer sessions of “Dancing by the Peddie Lake with Candace-Woodward- Clough” will begin on July 9 for the Thursday class and July 17 for the Friday class at 112 Etra Road, Hightstown. Beginner classes start at 7:30 p.m., and intermediate classes start at 8:30 p.m. Lessons in swing, foxtrot, waltz and Latin dancing will take place.  The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County and the Axelrod Performing Arts Center will co-sponsor a summer Israeli film festival. “Mr. Kaplan” will be presented at 7 p.m. July 14, and “The Green Prince” will be presented at 2 p.m. July 15 at the museum, 310 Mount’s Corner Drive, Freehold Township.  The Monmouth County Audubon Society will host a bird walk to look for nesters and shorebirds on Sandy Hook at 6 p.m. July 16. Participants will meet in the parking lot of the old Sandy Hook Visitor’s Center. This free event will be led by members of the Monmouth County Audubon Society who are familiar with Sandy Hook and its birds. Society nembers and nonmembers are welcome to attend. Participants should bring binoculars and field guides, and should dress appropriately for the weather, including clothing suitable for rain if the forecast is questionable.  The Novo Nordisk Diabetes Center at CentraState Medical Center is offering a support group for people with diabetes and their families.
