Driver dies in motorcycle accident

EAST BRUNSWICK — A motorcycle accident on Cranbury Road on June 22 left one man dead and another injured.

Perth Amboy residents Edwin Caba- Abreu, 20, and passenger Jiordany Rodriguez Paulino, 18, were riding along a stretch of Cranbury Road near Merrill Avenue at 5 a.m. when Caba-Abreu lost control of his 2006 Suzuki GSX motorcycle, according to East Brunswick police.

According to police, the two were thrown from the motorcycle as they were driving into a curve.

Caba-Abeu died at the scene of the accident. Rodriguez-Paulino was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. A hospital spokesperson said on June 23 that his condition is improving.
