Hillsborough police reported two thefts in mid-June.
A trailer was reportedly broken into sometime in the night before June 13 when it was left parked in the Hillsborough Promenade parking lot on Route 206. A tool valued a $50 was reported missing from the trailer.
On June 14, a Royce field Road resident reported the theft of their mailbox, valued at 120, sometime overnight.
In another incident, an employee at the Woods Road School on South Woods Road reported damage to a skylight at the school on May 27. The value to the damage was estimated at $1,290.
Police said two men were charged with possession of marijuana in a vehicle.
Jake Novak, 19, of Hillsborough was charged May 26 while officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle complaint on Mill Lane.
Christopher Henry, 21, of Raritan was charged May 27 after the vehicle he was driving was stopped by police on Route 206. Mr. Henry was also charged with failure to maintain lights and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
Both men were released and given dates to come to municipal court.
