Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Middlesex County has openings for volunteers to advocate for children in Middlesex County who have experienced abuse or neglect.
CASA volunteers research the child welfare case, meet with the child and the people involved in the child’s life and provide reports to the court to help secure a safe, stable and permanent home for the child as quickly as possible.
Training and ongoing supervision for volunteers is provided. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and pass background checks.
The next volunteer training session begins July 7; applications are due by July 3.
