Susan (Offenberg) Ruderman and Ronald Ruderman of Jackson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a brunch held in their honor at a local diner on July 4. In addition, they will celebrate with a weeklong beach vacation with their family in August at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The couple was married in Far Rockaway, New York.
Mrs. Ruderman has been retired for more than 20 years. She was the owner of The Calorie Gallery, Marlboro. Mrs. Ruderman performs in community productions, participates in the Brandeis organization, plays Mahjong and Canasta, and lectures about nutrition and weight loss.
Mr. Ruderman is the vice president of sales at First Investors Life Insurance Company, Edison. He has been employed at the firm for 43 years and is “still happily working.” Mr. Ruderman is a member of the photography club in his community.
The couple has three sons, Ian and his wife, Eileen, of Freehold; Loren and his wife, Judyann, of Boonton; and Jason and his wife, Nicole, of Laurel, Md. The Rudermans have six grandchildren, Hailey, Lindsey, Maya, Hannah, Ava and Ryan.
