Administrators in the Howell K-8 School District took time at a recent Board of Education meeting to recognize teachers and staff members who retired at the end of the 2014-15 school year.

“The teachers of this district show how great Howell is and they truly prepare our children for the best future possible,” Superintendent of Schools Joseph Isola said.

The following educators and staff members were recognized:

According to Isola, each staff member heading into retirement has been employed by the school district for more than 20 years.

The board also recognized a member of the district’s administrative staff. After more than 20 years of service, Roberta Schick, who served as the board’s stenographer, has retired.

Isola said Schick was a key component in the organization of all board meetings.

“We are really like family here and I am going to miss being a part of this as I head into retirement,” Schick said.
