The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison, will offer the following Lego programs the week of Aug. 17-21:
A Lego Camp/Workshop for K-2 students, 9 a.m.-noon, and for grades 3-6 students, 1-4 p.m. A weeklong intensive program will instruct children how to design and build Lego motorized machines, houses, pyramids, bridges, catapults, buildings and other constructions. The cost is $175 per child.
The weeklong Combo Workshop: Spirit of Math and Lego Camp/Workshop for grades 3-6 will run 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. “Spirit of Math” will cover core math concepts and problem solving. The cost is $150 per child for the Spirit of Math Camp only. From 12:30-1 p.m., there will be a supervised lunch. From 1-4 p.m., the children will join the campers in their age group for the workshop. The cost is $175 per child for the Lego Camp only. The combo workshop costs $325 for the week.
