A head-on collision on Bunn Drive sent one of the drivers to the hospital after she was extricated from her car, following a two-car accident that occurred at 6:30 p.m. June 29, according to the Princeton Police Department.
Cynthia Veitch, 36, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, was traveling west on Bunn Drive near North Harrison Street when her 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer was struck head-on by a 2015 Audi Q5 sport utility vehicle driven by Gautomi Chakrabarty, 36, of Scarlet Oak Drive.
The Audi, which was traveling west on Bunn Drive, crossed the centerline and struck the Mitsubishi, police said. The driver of the Audi complained of lower body pain, but refused medical transport, police said.
Ms. Veitch, who had to be cut out of her car, complained of upper body and lower body pain, and was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton by the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad, police said.
The Audi sustained extensive front-end damage and airbag deployment, police said. The Mitsubishi Lancer also suffered extensive front-end damage and multiple front- and side-airbag deployment. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
