HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP: Police Blotter July 9

Lt. Christopher H. Kascik of the Hopewell Township Police Department reported:
June 21 at 3:56 a.m., Officer Mark Panzano was on patrol on Route 31 near Tree Farm Road when he stopped a 2004 Mazda for the driver making an illegal turn and subsequently charged the driver with drunken driving.
The driver, Nicholas Farnsworth, 33, of Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville, Pennsylvania, also was charged with reckless driving, improper turning and having an expired license. 

June 27 at 8:30 a.m., Officer Joseph Maccaquano went to a business on Reed Road on a report of a burglary and theft.
Sometime during the prior evening, someone broke into a storage trailer and stole $7,000 worth of snow blowers, chainsaws, pruners and backpack leaf blowers.
Detective Frank Tulko is assisting in the investigation. 

June 30 at 1:20 a.m., Sgt. Kevin Zorn was on patrol on Route 29 near Church Road and stopped a 2012 Honda for having no working license plate lights.
The driver, Elkin A Castaneda Jr., 23, of Stewartsville, New Jersey, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia (a pipe/grinder) and released without bail. 

June 30 at 3:35 a.m., Officer John Ferner stopped a 2014 Chevrolet on Route 31 near Mine Road for speeding, doing 64 in a 45-mph zone.
The driver, Jayda N. Christie, 21, of Scott Run Circle, Newark, Delaware, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance in a motor vehicle and speeding and released without bail. 

June 29 at 11:42 p.m., Officer James Klesney was on patrol on Route 29 near Church Road and found a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck disabled in the road, missing its front tire.
The driver, Cynthia L. Timko, 37, of Quaker Hill Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania, was charged with drunken driving, and reckless driving and released to a friend. 

June 29 at 9:17 p.m., Officer Christopher Vaccarino stopped a 1998 Honda on Route 29 near Route 546 for driving erratically.
The driver, Lucrecia V. Nix, 21, of Trenton, had warrants for her arrest from Trenton and was arrested.
A passenger, Ashley V. Nix, also of Trenton, also had warrants for her arrest from Trenton and also was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of an open container of alcohol.
Both were turned over to the Trenton Police Department. 

Sunday at 7:52 a.m., Officer Christopher Vaccarino stopped a 2013 Hyundai for speeding — 41 in a 25-mph zone — on Harbourton-Rocktown Road near Pleasant Valley Road.
The driver, Jade R. Jefferson, 22, of Oaklyn, New Jersey, was charged with in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia (a pipe) and speeding and released without bail. 
