The New Jersey Cheetahs Premier Under-18 softball team, competing in the Colorado Fireworks in Aurora, reached the semifinals of the Super 64 bracket before losing, 5-2, to the eventual champion on July 5 to finish in third place.
“This was an amazing accomplishment for our organization,” said Cheetahs Premier U18 manager and program founder and president David Dominici, whose team from the showcase, which featured several of the leading softball programs in the country, returned on July 5.
