Weichert, Realtors will host a paper shredding event at its office at 455 Route 9 south, Manalapan, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 11. Individuals who would like to shred documents are asked to bring a nonperishable food item that will be donated to a local food bank.
At 10 a.m. July 16 in the Freehold Intermediate School cafeteria, 280 Park Ave., Freehold, the Board of Education auditor and attorney will conduct a lottery to select eligible children for placement in and to establish a waiting list for the preschool expansion grant through the state from the U.S. Department of Education Race to the Top Preschool Expansion Grant Program. The lottery will be open to the public.
The Italian American Association of Monmouth County will host an Italian enrichment summer camp from Aug. 3-14, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Old Brick Reformed Church, Marlboro, for children ages 5 to 14.
