Discover the fish, crabs and other creatures that live in the bay with the Monmouth County Park System’s free Summer Seining program for children and adults that is running through Aug. 21 at Bayshore Waterfront Park, 719 Port Monmouth Road, Port Monmouth.
Join Park System naturalists as they seine the water and identify aquatic creatures from 11 a.m.-noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should meet on the beach, wear sunscreen and closed shoes and bring drinking water.
