Vocalists of the 1930s, ’40s, ’50s set for July 14

The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison, will present Vocalists of the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s with David Aaron at 10:30 a.m. July 14

During the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s, every Big Band had at least one featured vocalist, male and/or female, to add musical variety. David Aaron, bandleader and clarinetist, will share the bios and recordings of the most famous vocalists from the Golden Era of the Big Bands.

The fee is $8 for Community Campus members or $11 for nonmembers.
