Hopewell Township Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a trip to the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on Aug. 18.
Located on the former Bethlehem Steel property, the Sands Casino has more than 3,000 slots as well as a variety of game tables. Visit the outlet stores, including Lenox, Corningware, Talbots and the Farmer’s Almanac General Store.
Participants will receive a $20 slot play and a $5 food voucher. Lunch is available at Burgers & More by Emeril, Carnegie Deli, The Market Gourmet Express or Steelworks Buffet & Grill.
For those who have never been to this Sands, bring a photo ID for a new casino card.
The cost of the trip is $35 per person ($30 for Hopewell Township residents). The trip departs at 8:30 a.m. from Independence Park and will return by 6 p.m.
