Environmental panel plans talk on birding

Birding expert Roger Dreyling will offer a program titled “Why Birds and Birding?” at the next meeting of the Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership set for 7:30 p.m. July 21 at the Milltown Senior Center, 60 Violet Terrace.

Discussion will focus on birding as a hobby, backyard bird feeders, birding in its many forms, birding equipment, diversity and passions, meeting new people while birding and visiting unusual places. Dreyling also will show photographs taken of birds in Thompson Park, Monroe.
