PRINCETON: Additional rules to protect workers being considered

By Philip Sean Curran, Staff Writer
Princeton is exploring adding new regulations to protect workers and customers of local nail salons, barber shops and beauty parlors.
Municipal health officer Jeffrey Grosser said Wednesday that he is researching the issue to determine how many such businesses exist in town. Any such ordinance would provide the local health department to inspect them for cleanliness; they already fall under the jurisdiction.
The local board of health will get updated on the issue at its meeting Tuesday.
