UPPER FREEHOLD — The Township Committee has approved liquor license renewals for three Upper Freehold Township establishments.

The committee approved license renewals for Senilline Inc., the Happy Apple Inn and Shree Guru Corporation Inc. during a meeting July 9.

Senilline was issued a 2015-16 license for the Gambler Ridge Golf Course restaurant and bar area on Burlington Path Road with three conditions: the hours of outdoor sales of alcoholic beverages are limited from sunrise to sunset, an employee will be posted outdoors to ensure that patrons do not throw debris on neighboring properties; and employees will be posted outdoors at closing to ensure that patrons do not disturb neighboring residents.

The Happy Apple Inn on Imlaystown Road was issued a liquor license for the 2015-16 licensing year, as was a small liquor store in a country market on Route 537. That liquor store license is held by the Shree Guru Corporation.

Mayor Stanley Moslowski Jr., Committeeman Stephen Alexander and Committeeman Dr. Robert Frascella voted to approve the license renewals.

Committeeman Robert Faber was excused due to illness and Committeewoman LoriSue Mount was not present to vote, but arrived later in the meeting.

In other business, the committee appointed Paul Capotorto as the new municipal court judge effective Aug. 1. Capotorto will replace Bonnie Goldman, who is retiring. Capotorto was previously a fill-in judge for Goldman prior to his appointment as Upper Freehold’s new municipal court judge.
