PRINCETON: Concrete work to begin on Prospect Avenue

Due to scheduling delays the concrete work that was scheduled last week will now start on Monday, weather permitting, on Prospect Avenue, Princeton officials announced.
The work will be done between Harrison Street and Riverside Drive West, including at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Riverside Drive West. While this work is proceeding, Prospect Avenue will be closed from Harrison Street to Riverside Drive West from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. Should inclement weather occur, the work will proceed the following business day.
This work includes concrete sidewalk, curb and concrete driveway apron repair work and should take approximately two weeks to complete, officials said.
When a concrete driveway apron is installed, access to the driveway will be prohibited for at least 72 hours after installation is complete. Residents are asked to park in a legal parking space on the street away from where the work is occurring, or to work with a neighbor across the street to share a driveway.
Officials said residents will be notified when access is restored to a driveway. Residents who need an an overnight on-street parking placard should contact Scott Hutchinson, project inspector, at shutchinson@princetonnj.gov or call (609) 731-2631.
