Hillsborough Democrats will boost their candidates for Township Committee at a Pasta Night on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lenny’s Pizza and Pasta in the Kingsbridge Shopping Center at 378 South Branch Road.
“This year, we are gathering at 378 South Branch Road so that next year, hopefully, we can gather across the street at 379, the municipal building,“ said Anne Iannone, vice chair of the Hillsborough Democratic Organization, which is coordinating this dinner. “It’s time for Democrats to serve on the Township Committee again and this event will help raise necessary funds for our campaign. In addition to our active Democrats, we welcome new Democrats to join the fun and meet like-minded people in a social setting with great food and a few surprises.“
Guests will have a choice of one of pasta dishes, salad, bread and drinks for $25 per person. A portion of the pasta dinner proceeds goes to the campaign.
