CentraState Healthcare Foundation will host its 14th annual multiple sclerosis fundraiser, “An Evening in the Vineyards,” from 7-10 p.m. Sept. 18 at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, 901 W. Main St., Freehold Township.
Proceeds will support the Linda E. Cardinale Multiple Sclerosis Center, which is now the largest and most comprehensive MS center in New Jersey, according to a press release.
The Linda E. Cardinale MS Center was developed jointly with CentraState Medical Center and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, New Jersey Metro Chapter, with the support of Vito Cardinale of Cardinale Enterprises in honor of his wife, Linda.
The regional center provides diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and support for patients with MS and their families, and also offers an MS Wellness Program which was modeled after highly regarded programs at the University of Southern California and the University of California at Los Angeles. The Cardinale center treats more than 1,500 patients yearly, according to the press release.
The Gordon Stillwell Tasting Room will be featured at the event – a special and educational experience boasting some rare wines from the Napa Valley. Max’s Beer Wine and Liquors, Freehold, will coordinate the main tastings of fine wines from around the world, craft beers and unique spirits, while the Metropolitan Cafe, Freehold Borough, will provide cuisine to complement the tastings.
Tickets are available at $150 per person with an additional $75 for the Gordon Stillwell Tasting Room, and sponsorship packages range from $500 to $7,500. Last year’s event drew more than 500 people and raised more than $240,000, according to the press release. For more information, call the foundation at 732-294-7099.
