World War II vet seeks mail correspondence

Isaac Feinberg – the grandfather of Beth Passner, a Social Studies teacher at North Brunswick Township High School – will be participating in the Honor Flight program next month.

A World War II and Korean War veteran, Feinberg will be flown from Florida to Washington, D.C. and back on Sept. 19 through the free program for servicemen in their 80s and 90s. The soon-to-be 90- year-old has never seen the memorials dedicated to the wars he served in. On the flight back to Florida, there will be a “Mail Call” for the veterans. The Honor Flight is accepting cards, letters and notes to be sent to each veteran.

To participate on Feinberg’s behalf, correspondence must be sent by Sept. 8 to: Isaac W. Feinberg, Mail Call, SE FL Honor Flight, P.O. Box 1503, Stuart, FL 34995.
