The Horsemen’s Association of Millstone Township will meet on Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Millstone Community Center, Stagecoach Road (next to the firehouse). The Veterans Community Alliance of New Jersey will host a day at the races to help veterans on Sept. 20 at Monmouth Park, Oceanport. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. and the first race begins at 12:50 p.m. The cost is $40 for adults; $15 for children; and free for children under 5. The cost includes lunch and beer on tap. BYOB.
