Berkshire Hathaway Annual Golf Invitational slated for Sept. 21

Event to raise funds for The Sunshine Kids Foundation

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties is sponsoring its Eleventh Annual Golf Invitational to benefit The Sunshine Kids Foundation. Participation and other sponsorship opportunities are available for the full-day event that culminates in a closing ceremony filled with entertainment and prizes. The Sunshine Kids Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing positive group activities and emotional support for children with cancer.

To be held Sept. 21, at Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough, the tournament welcomes golf enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Player entry is $195 per person, which includes greens’ fees, lunch, dinner, drinks, raffle, awards and silent auction. A dinner package that includes everything except golfing is available for $85. Special guest and executive director of The Sunshine Kids Foundation, G.W. Bailey, who is known for his acting roles in Police Academy and The Closer, will also be in attendance.

Various sponsorship opportunities are also available, with corporate sponsorships ranging from $150 to $2,500. Major sponsors to date include: Lexus of Bridgewater (Hole in One Sponsor), Home Capital Network; Associated Title Agency; MacLean Agency; Donald & Elaine Tourville, ANorton Septic Contracting, LLC; United Business Systems, and J. Velocci and Associates. Select auction prizes include tickets to the 2016 PGA Championship, an autographed photo of Derek Jeter, and golf foursomes at Montclair Golf Club, Royce Brook Golf Club and Stanton Ridge Golf Club.

Since 2001, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties has raised more than $1,000,000 for the nonprofit organization through a variety of fundraising events, including the annual golf invitational.
