Donovan W. Smith, 53, of Ewing Township, was arrested on an outstanding $453 traffic warrant from Teaneck after he was stopped for speeding on Route 1 south at 4:40 a.m. Sept. 14. He was also issued summonses for speeding and being an unlicensed driver.
Qadir A. Maan, 29, of East Brunswick Township, was charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction of the administration of law and justice and hindering apprehension at 3:41 p.m. Sept. 11 after police responded to investigate a disturbance at the Tre Piani restaurant at Princeton Forrestal Village. Mr. Maan was also charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle during a period of license suspension due to driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving, having a suspended driver’s license, having an expired driver’s license and refusal to submit to breath tests after it was determined that he had driven to the shopping center while under the influence of alcohol. He was also found to have multiple outstanding warrants, totaling more than $7,500. He was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center on $5,000 bail.
