PLAINSBORO — A woman who was found asleep in a vacant apartment at the Ravens Crest rental apartment complex last week has been charged with burglary, trespassing and criminal mischief, according to the Plainsboro Township Police Department.
Joanna L. Girgis, 25, of Old Bridge, and Jeffrey A. Fellows, 29, of Ravens Crest Drive, were found asleep in the bedroom of a vacant apartment at 8:34 a.m. Sept. 16 by Ravens Crest maintenance personnel, police said. There were signs of forced entry into the vacant apartment.
Police officers responded to a report for two people who were trespassing, and found Ms. Girgis when they arrived. They could not find Mr. Fellows. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, with $5,000 bail pending, police said.
Ms. Girgis was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center on $5,000 bail.
