Food Truck Farm Fest proceeds will assist military service members who have been injured in the line of duty.
The festival will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 3 at the Tri-County Farmers Cooperative at 619 Route 33 in East Windsor. Pompier Catering and Cuisine and the Tri-County Farmers Cooperative are hosting the fundraiser to support the Wounded Warrior Project.
The Wounded Warrior Project, which is based in Jacksonville, Florida, raises awareness and enlists the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members; helps injured servicemen and women assist each other; and provides unique, direct programs and services to meet injured service members’ needs.
The gourmet food trucks participating in the fest want to bring awareness and donations to the Wounded Warrior Project and want to highlight New Jersey Fresh produce, farm-to-table, sustainability, and local agriculture.
The festival will feature seven to 10 local gourmet food trucks, live music, agriculture seminars and craft beer.
Volunteers are needed. Anyone interested should contact Scott Belgard at 609-462-5544.
