Greg Burchette and Carl Suraci, the Republican candidates for the Township Committee this year represent more than 40 years of experience and dedication to the residents of Hillsborough. They are the two best choices for re-election because they have already shown their devotion and leadership ability.
Carl Suraci has served for 12 years on the committee with experience on the Planning Board, and as chairman of the finance committee, police liaison, Recreation Commission and a recreation coach for 7 years. He has also served on the Credit Card Advisory Committee, Veterans Committee, Youth Services Commission and Board of Education liaison.
Deputy Mayor Greg Burchette is finishing his first term, having initiated a new program, Shop Hillsborough, to help support local businesses and save taxpayers’ money. He has served on the Planning Board, Environmental Commission, Capital Planning Committee and Municipal Utilities Authority, as well as being liaison to the Board of Adjustment, for a total of 24 years, plus 15 years as a Rotarian, supporting many local non-profit causes. He also is a pilot for Angel Flight, flying sick children to specialized hospitals.
Together, Greg and Carl have proven records of achievement for our town, one of the best places in the state and country to live because of leaders like them. Please support them with your vote on Nov. 3.
