Hundreds of runners — a majority organized by the Steps Together non-profit group — ran long and short distances Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Amsterdam Elementary School to raise money for the Steeplechase Cancer Center in Somerville.
Races of five and 10 kilometers were held, as well as sprints for the kids.
Steps Together solicited nearly 600 representatives and raised more than $62,000. Money will go to families with medical needs.
