Man fatally struck by truck at South Brunswick warehouse

SOUTH BRUNSWICK — A man was killed after being struck by a truck at a township warehouse.

Responding to a 911 call, officers and paramedics arrived to find Linwood Moore, 55, of Monroe, on the ground in the lot of the Argix Direct warehouse, located at 100 Middlesex Center Blvd. around 6 a.m. Sept. 30.

Moore had been struck by a 1999 Freightliner being driven by Danhel Moran- Perez, 40, of East Orange, according to South Brunswick police.

Moore was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics.

An investigation by the South Brunswick Traffic Safety Bureau determined Moore was walking in the lot back toward the warehouse building when he was hit by the truck as it was driving in the lot, police said. The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and New Jersey State Police are assisting with the investigation.

There has been no summons issued as of press time.
