Quietly, with little fanfare but lots of interest, The Oaks at Cranbury has generated an impressive number of sales since opening last November. The new community from K. Hovnanian Homes, located off of Route 130 on Friendship Road in South Brunswick Township, features new, large townhomes, with a private pool and clubhouse to be located on site. Buyer interest has been so strong and steady, according to the builder, that the sales team has amassed an interest list numbering more than 400 — with only 188 homes available in the community. To date, nearly 90 homes have been sold, with the builder having done little to no mass marketing, and before any models were open.
Now, with construction on the community’s first model homes nearly complete, the builder is preparing to open the community to the general public. A Model Grand Opening is planned for Oct. 3-4. The models will be open for guests to tour 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The Model Grand Opening represents the first time that buyers will be able to see and tour these new townhomes.
The Oaks at Cranbury offers a choice of four different townhome designs, ranging from just under 2,000 to 2,400 square feet of luxurious living space, with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, attached garages, and distinctive features and finishes throughout. Designer kitchens feature beautifully crafted, furniture-quality cabinetry and granite countertops. Elegant baths feature granite vanity tops, a tiled shower area with shower pan, and a double bowl vanity in the owner’s bath. Pricing, which is subject to change, begins from the mid-$400s.
The new community will be an ideal one for families. Homes are spacious enough to accommodate growing families, and homeowners will enjoy outstanding recreational and social amenities right in their neighborhood, with the community’s private pool and clubhouse. Families will also appreciate living in the excellent South Brunswick school district.
South Brunswick is one of Central Jersey’s most convenient and desirable locations. This year, New Jersey Family ranked the township among the top 25 percent in its annual list of the state’s “Best Towns for Families.” The township has more than 20 developed parks, with picnic pavilions, trails, and athletic fields. There are also lots of open space areas, contributing to a pleasing natural environment, including D & R Canal State Park, Cook Natural Area, Davidsons Mill County Park, and Pigeon Swamp State Park.
Commuters will find the location ideal, too. Located off of Route 130, The Oaks at Cranbury offers easy access to the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 1. The community is also within walking distance of a large NJ Transit Park and Ride offering service to New York City. The NJ Transit Princeton Junction station is nearby as well. Homeowners will also appreciate living so close to all the shops, restaurants and entertainment options in nearby Princeton and New Brunswick. It’s an easy drive to the Jersey Shore, for summer fun at some of the state’s best beaches.
