 The Monmouth County Park System’s Historic Walnford, 62 Walnford Road, Upper Freehold Township, will present a program about historical headstones from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Admission and parking are free. Details: 732-842-4000, ext. 4245.

 The Horsemen’s Association of Millstone Township will meet on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Millstone Community Center, Stagecoach Road (next to the firehouse). Anyone who has an interest in horses is invited to attend the meeting and learn about upcoming trail rides and other activities. Details: www.hamt.org

 The Millstone Township Halloween Parade will be held on Oct. 25. Parking, registration and parade line-up will take place from 1:45-2 p.m. at the fields behind the Clarksburg Inn, Stagecoach Road (Route 524). The parade will begin at 2 p.m. at which time Route 524 will be closed to through traffic. Goody bags will be distributed and prizes will be awarded for scariest, funniest, prettiest, most original and most patriotic costumes. Donations of individually wrapped candy will be accepted through Oct. 19 at the Millstone firehouse, 461 Stagecoach Road, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The event is being coordinated by the Millstone Township Fire Company Ladies’Auxiliary and is sponsored by area businesses and organizations.  Elks Lodge No. 2613, 22 Burnt Tavern Road, Millstone Township, will host a tricky tray at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17. Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15, including coffee, tea, dessert and five tickets for Level 1 prizes. Must be 18 and older to participate. Details: 732-928-8308.
