ABC will premiere its new drama “Wicked City” on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 10 p.m. Welcome to Los Angeles circa 1982, as two detectives (played by Jeremy Sisto and Gabriel Luna) find themselves on one of the toughest cases of their career. Assigned to a murder case, they are determined to track down and bring the killer to justice before another murder can occur.
Ed Westwick plays the role of the tragic soul who craves attention and goes on a murderous rampage to obtain notoriety. Our two detectives get a break when a journalist (played by Taissa Farmiga) writing a story on the Sunset Strip is approached by the killer in a nightclub.
PBS will air the three-part series “Nova: Making of North America”on three consecutive Wednesdays, Nov. 4, 11 and 18 at 9 p.m. (check your local listings). This is an epic road trip to explore the mighty forces in geology and biology that have shaped our continent over three billion years. Fiery eruptions, titanic floods, the grinding of great ice sheets, and massive impacts from space all shaped our land.
TNT will premiere season two of “The Librarians,” on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 8 p.m. Based on TNT’s hit movie franchise, the series centers on an ancient organization hidden beneath the Metropolitan Public Library dedicated to protecting an unknowing world from the secret, magical reality hidden all around.
It stars Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, Lindy Booth and John Larroquette, with Noah Wyle making recurring appearances.
