Greater Media’s Deana Poole and Marc Mustachio were among those honored at the 2015 Radio Ink Radio Wayne Awards. The ceremony took place on Oct. 1 during the annual Radio Show Advertiser Breakfast held at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Ga.
Greater Media Philadelphia’s Deana Poole was named “Digital Sales Specialist of the Year.”
Greater Media New Jersey’s Marc Mustachio received the “Street Fighter (AE) of the Year” award.
“We are so very proud of Deana and Marc for winning these coveted awards in our industry,” Greater Media Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Peter Smyth said. “It is an honor to have them both in the Greater Media family.”
The annual Radio Wayne Awards honor radio superstars whose hard work, dedication and creativity separate them from the pack. They recognize the people who make the industry work every day.
The awards are named in honor of “Radio Wayne” Cornils, who set a high standard for professionalism in radio. Cornils was a successful small-market radio broadcaster and also served as executive vice president of the Radio Advertising Bureau and SVP/Radio at the National Association of Broadcasters.
