Florence M. (Kessler) Earl

Florence M. (Kessler) Earl, 89, of Monroe Township, died Oct. 19 at her home.

Born in Garwood, Mrs. Earl lived in Roselle Park before moving to Monroe Township in 1955.

She was employed for 25 years as an office aide by the Board of Education of Monroe Township, retiring in 1998.

Mrs. Earl was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 4589, Spotswood.

She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert E. Earl Jr., in 2007; her sister, Laura McCarthy; and her three brothers, William, Paul and Robert Kessler.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Andrew Tancredi, of Monroe Township; her son and daughter-in-law, David E. and MaryLou Earl, of Monroe Township; her four grandchildren, Andrew L. Tancredi Jr.; Beth Tancredi Keklak; Amy M. Earl; and David E. Earl Jr.; and her three great-grandchildren, Andrew, John and Anna Keklak.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. Funeral services were held at Simpson United Methodist Church, Old Bridge. Burial was in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
