WEST WINDSOR POLICE BLOTTER: Oct. 29


A thief stole irrigation equipment valued at a combined $2,000 from two locations in the Princeton Greens subdivision. The theft was reported at 3:33 p.m. Oct. 8. Similar thefts have occurred throughout the township. 
 Rosanna Soto, 27, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting for allegedly putting clothing worth $708.58 in a shopping cart at Walmart at the Nassau Park shopping center and leaving without paying for the items at 6:14 p.m. Oct. 8. 
 Jaclyn L. Lachman, 30, of Hamilton, was charged with shoplifting for allegedly putting merchandise valued at $104.99 in her purse at Walmart at the Nassau Park shopping center and leaving without paying for them at 9:41 p.m. Oct. 13. 

A West Windsor Township resident reported the theft of his Valero credit card from a Valero gas station and its subsequent use at other Valero gas stations. The victim used the credit card at the Valero gas station at 401 Princeton-Hightstown Road on Sept. 22 and did not recall getting it back from the attendant. The victim received a letter from the Valero Credit Center on Oct. 12, reporting that his credit card limit had been reached and that $1,000.43 worth of gasoline had been charged to it at that gas station and another one in South Brunswick Township on several different dates. The incident was reported at 4:54 p.m. Oct. 15. 
 Lavonia Scott, 50, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting for allegedly concealing an assortment of items in a shopping bag and leaving the Walmart store at the Nassau Park shopping center without paying for them at 1:02 p.m. Oct. 16. She was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on outstanding warrants. 
