HOPEWELLS, PENNINGTON: No challenges in other elections

Voters needed only to ratify uncontested candidates for area local offices on Tuesday.

Hopewell Borough 
Paul Anzano, a Democrat unchallenged in his bid for another 4-year term as mayor, won re-election with 341. He is a Democrat.
Debra Lehman, a Democrat, and Roxanne Klett, a Republican, were the only candidates for three-year terms on Borough Council. They are incumbents. They received 303 and 180 votes, respectively.
There were no school board races.

Pennington 
Anthony Persichilli, a Democrat, was uncontested for the mayor’s job, a 4-year term. He gained 369 votes to win the job again.
Deborah Gnatt and Joseph Lawver, both Democrats, faced no opposition for three-year terms on Borough Council. They had 368 and 363 votes, respectively.
Joanna “Jenny” Long was the only candidate for a three-year term on the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education. She got 280 votes.

Hopewell Township 
In addition to the one Township Committee race, there were two uncontested candidates for 3-year terms on the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education. Lisa Wolff, with 2,157 votes, and Leigh Ann Peterson, with 2,152, were elected. 
