HOPEWELL: Three held on warrants after auto is stopped 

Three people in a vehicle stopped Nov. 14 for an alleged motor vehicle violation were found to be wanted on warrants, Hopewell Township police said.
At 2:48 p.m. Officer Nicholas Sparaco stopped a 1999 Pontiac with tinted windows for a motor vehicle violation on Route 29 near Church Road.
While speaking with the driver — identified as Donald E. Thomas, 32, of Quinton Avenue, Trenton — the officer was found to have a suspended driver’s license and warrants for his arrest from Trenton.
Two passengers were also found to have warrants out for their arrest. Passenger Kenyattia R. Gaither, 39, of Walnut Avenue, Trenton was found to be a fugitive from justice and wanted on an escape warrant from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. Passenger Saritha L. Salter, 32, of Home Avenue, Trenton, was found to have warrants for her arrest from Willingboro.
All three were placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters. Ms. Salter and Mr. Thomas posted bail on their warrants and Ms. Gaither was lodged in the Mercer County Correction Center on a no-bail warrant. Their cases will be heard in municipal and Superior courts. 
