LAWRENCE POLICE BLOTTER: Nov. 25

  • Malcolm L. Huckaby, 42, of Trenton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for having a crack pipe in his possession after police responded to a call about a man panhandling in front of the Halo Farm store on Spruce Street at 5:38 p.m. Nov. 19. During the investigation, he was found to have an outstanding warrant for $961 from the Lawrence Township Municipal Court. The glass crack pipe was discovered as he was being searched after his arrest, police said. He was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center on $500 bail. 
  • An assortment of tools, valued at more than $2,000, were reported stolen from a house under construction on Princeton Pike sometime between Oct. 21 and Oct. 22. There was no sign of forced entry. The theft was reported at 3:45 p.m. Nov. 18. 
  • Deanna A. Lewis, 22, of Trenton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and unclear license plates following a motor vehicle stop on Brunswick Pike at 8:05 p.m. Nov. 17. 
