Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Great Adventure

Six Flags Great Adventure’s new holiday extravaganza, “Holiday in the Park,” runs weekends and select days through Jan. 3. More than a million lights, holiday entertainment, seasonal treats, Santa’s Village and many popular rides will magically transform into a winter wonderland.

Signature attractions include: “Holiday Magic: A Celebration of the Season,” a light show on a 52-foot-tall tree; “Jack Frost’s Magical Christmas” live stage show; “Gingerbread Junction” featuring the Gumdrop Hop dance party and a giant gingerbread man; “Joy to the World,” lighted trees, luminaries and stained glass showcasing religious holidays around the world.

At the “North Pole,” enter Santa’s home for holiday photos, meet a reindeer and build a stuffed toy; “Poinsettia Peak,” Skull Mountain roller coaster transformed with dazzling lights, and the Poinsettia Princess greeting guests; “Treetop Summit,Parachute Tower transforms into one of the world’s tallest light trees; “Polar Point,” trees twinkle with the illusion of falling snow while the Snow Queen meets guests.

Storytime with Mrs. Claus’ Holiday Memories; Mistletoe Moments; Wishing Tree; and With Love giant greeting card, Jingle Jammers sing holiday tunes by the fire pits as guests toast s’mores, and Stewie the Snowman in Snowman City.
