The Reformed Church of Metuchen, 150 Lake Ave., Metuchen, will hold a Burn-the- Bird Zumbathon from 2-4 p.m. on Nov. 28. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.; enter through the Lake Avenue door.
Dance away Thanksgiving calories with some of New Jersey’s best Zumba instructors and enjoy light refreshments, prizes and a special dance performance from Indonesia. Proceeds from the event will go toward making repairs to the mid-20th Century church building across from Tommy’s Pond.
The cost is $20 at the door.
