POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 12/4

The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015.
 Luis G. Orosco-Malla, 43, of Windsor Castle Apartments, was arrested at 2:39 a.m. Nov. 22 on Route 130 South and charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and for being an unlicensed driver.
An officer observed a vehicle driving erratically and conducted a motor vehicle stop. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from within the vehicle. Mr. Orosco-Malla was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. He was later released pending court action.
Michael A. Weiss, 30, of Tuckerton, N.J., was arrested at 2:10 a.m. Nov. 23 on Twin Rivers Drive and charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
An officer observed a suspicious vehicle near the Quad 2 Pool on Twin Rivers Drive. The vehicle was occupied by a sleeping male in the driver’s seat. The driver’s suspicious behavior led to further investigation at which time he was found to be in possession of hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Weiss was arrested and later released pending court action.
Peter J. Delpome II, 30, of Iris Drive, was arrested at 8 p.m. Nov. 24 on Route 33 East and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintenance of lamps.
While on patrol in the area of Route 133 and Route 33, an officer observed a green Acura with a malfunctioning headlight and conducted a motor vehicle stop. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Delpome was arrested and later released pending court action.
Christine L. Teffenhart, 18, of Wilmor Drive, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. Nov. 25 on Lake Drive and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle.
While on patrol in the area of Lake Drive, an officer observed a suspicious occupied vehicle. The officer made an inquiry with the driver of the vehicle and detected the odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the passenger was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Ms. Teffenhart was arrested and later released pending court action.
