Cecilia S. Weller

Cecilia S. Weller, of Parlin, passed away on Dec. 2. She was 90.

Mrs. Weller was born in Helmetta on April 5, 1925, to August Schwarzenberg and Julia Kilian. She was one of eight children.

A graduate of Sayreville High School, she worked as a secretary for DuPont. She married her husband, William F. Weller, in 1946. The couple welcomed three children together and two grandchildren.

She is remembered as a generous woman who cared deeply for her family.

Mrs. Weller was well known for her skills in cooking, baking, pottery and gardening. She took pride in what she created and enjoyed sharing her efforts with those around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Weller and her husband, Ron Cyphers; and Karen Van Siclen and her husband, Andrew; her grandchildren, Janelle Van Siclen and Nick Cyphers; and her siblings, Janet Talbot and Don Schwarzenberg. She is preceded in death by her husband, William F. Weller; her daughter, Judy Weller; her grandson, Scott Van Siclen; and her five siblings.

Funeral arrangements were made by Sayreville Memorial Funeral Home, 338 Main St., South Amboy. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment followed at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.
