EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP – Ground was broken recently for the newest child care center in East Windsor.
Lightbridge Academy will open the new center on Route 130 North at the southeast intersection of Old Cranbury Road.
Established in 1997, Lightbridge Academy provides early education and child care to children ages six weeks through kindergarten, as well as special programming for children up to 10 years old during school holidays, breaks and summer camp. The East Windsor Lightbridge Academy, a free-standing building of 9,934 square feet, is projected to be completed in mid-2016. “The East Windsor Route 130 corridor is a great accessible location for the new Lightbridge Academy, which will provide another child care option for working parents. Based on their prior success and positive growth patterns, we expect that Lightbridge will become an integral part of the community,” said East Windsor Mayor Janice Mironov, who attended the groundbreaking along with council members. The company franchised in 2011 in an effort to expand its concept throughout the Northeast, and currently has more than 70 child-care centers either open or in development throughout Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Entrepreneur magazine has ranked the Middlesex County, New Jersey-based Lightbridge Franchise Company as one of the Top New Franchise in 2015. Entrepreneur selected Lightbridge Academy child-care centers because of the company’s size, growth and financial strength.
A distinctive feature of the centers is Lightbridge’s use of technology to allow real time communication between parents and teachers throughout the day, as well as video and still photo sharing through an online portal.
Founded by Guy and Julia Falzarano, the Falzarano family remains involved in the company, from Guy Falzarano as CEO to their youngest grandchild enrolled in one of the child care facilities.
