South Brunswick DPW honored for paving project

SOUTH BRUNSWICK — The township’s Department of Public Works (DPW) has received an award for a paving project carried out by the DPW Road Division during the summer of 2014.

The “Project of the Year” award was accepted by DPW Director Raymond T. Olsen and Mayor Frank Gambatese from the New Jersey Chapter of the American Public Works Association during the annual League of Municipalities Conference in Atlantic City on Nov. 19.

The paving project took place on Davidson Mill Road, where almost 3,000 tons of asphalt were used to pave the section of roadway running from the New Jersey Turnpike Overpass to Cranbury Road.
