Feeling less than merry this holiday season?
The Hopewell Council of Churches will hold its annual “Blue Christmas” service at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. The service is intended to help address the needs of those experiencing grief caused by the death of a loved one, divorce, illness, unemployment or other issues of loss.
The service will offer participants a time of prayer and reflection and is open to anyone in the community. It will include an opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one or as a sign of hope.
Light refreshments will be served after the service.
