Sanzio Salon and Day Spa will hold its ninth annual Holiday Bake Sale from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 18 and 19 and from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 20 at the salon, 1008 Route 34, Matawan.
This year, Mikey Richert, a 10-year-old cousin of an employee, who attends schools at John Adams Elementary in North Brunswick, is suffering from a medulloblastoma brain tumor. The funds will also go toward the Jamie Levy Memorial Scholarship for Volunteerism and Community Service; graduating seniors from the Matawan Regional High School who are planning to attend college may apply through the school’s guidance department.
Last year, the salon raised more than $6,500 to support Give Kids the World and two children in medical need. In the past nine years, approximately $36,500 has been raised.
